Mini Red and Orange Tournament

U12 Boys Team
A huge congratulations to the Boys U12 on getting through to the final. It is taking place at Gosling Sports Park, Welwyn Garden City this Sunday 25th September at 10am. The boys will be playing against Langley Tennis Club. GOOD LUCK!

U12 & U14 Girls
Chorleywood Tennis Club U12 and U14 girls were crowned Aegon Hertfordshire Division 2 2011 champions following an excellent series of displays against other clubs across the county.
All the girls contributed valuable points across the games and, for the U12s, the achievement was made even more special by the fact that they were all Year 6 girls and played most of their matches against girls who were in Year 7.
Well done to all the girls and their coaches at Chorleywood who have brought on their game so well.

Pay & Play
Simon is looking, with the help of Luke Willis and Matt Cousens, to resurrect this previously popular pay and play sessions. £1.50 for members and £3.00 for non members
This will start on 9th October, times as follows:-
9:00-10:00am Mini red/orange (ages 6-8)
10:00-11:00am Mini green (ages 8-10)
11:00-12:00 Junior 11+

General Information
We have a busy junior section. The Junior Committee and club coaches are responsible for the planning and organisation of junior activities.
The Club aims to allow juniors as much court time as possible. Squads are held every weekday during term from 3pm onward for all ages and abilities - see the attached timetable. Elements of the LTA Mini Tennis programme are incorporated for younger players and beginners.
Juniors have the use of all 6 courts on Saturday mornings for coaching, matches and social play. They are welcome to use the courts at any other time except club sessions.
Tennis camps are held during the school holidays. There are plenty of opportunities for competitive tennis: Junior Club Tournaments, Match-Play days and county league matches. The Club also holds an annual Junior Open Tournament, usually in October. As Juniors improve they are encouraged to join Club Sessions and play in Senior matches.
